Meager? I'd like to know what you think a "decent" system is. I'm still on a 670 and a i7 2600k here.

2600K for the win!!! One of the best performance/$ ratios and great chip to overclock.

And yea, total scrubmachine, Crabs 😅

Nice.

I really need a SSD myself as well. It's actually pretty stupid that I haven't got one yet. Oh, and maybe I need a new mic. Possibly.

At least you could just click the new 1070 in, without having to buy a new PSU and all. Unless the card is too long for your case, but I don't think it's that long. Have that problem with my r9 290 tri-x. Was too long for my previous case (Antec 900), so I had to adjust one of the front panels to make it fit. In my new case it just fits. Literally 2 or 3 mm space left.

There is tons of space in this case. I could easily just slide a 1070 in here.

Nice build. Really slick.

You know the ROG backplate alone already gives you a huge overclock, don't you? And with those two ROG monitors, you probably don't even need a graphics card anymore.

Just installed my new GPU today, a MSI 1060. I had to settle for a 1060 as the bookkeeper would only approve the purchase of a CPU/MOBO combo or a 1060. The rebuild will have to wait haha.

Neat! That's a good upgrade from a 670.

I like the sight of brand new computer hardware.

Awesome upgrades bro. That CPU and GPU combo is probably the best one to buy right now. SLI does not always equal better performance in terms of gaming but for games that make full use of both cards it is truly awesome, however I'd still go for a single 1080 instead of two 1070's.
